Job summary

Pacific Consulting Group (PCG) is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own a multi-year program delivering analytics for financial crimes compliance. You will set technical direction, manage schedules and risks, guide architecture, and serve as the face of the technical team to government stakeholders.

The role requires eligibility for a Federal Public Trust clearance, U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and prior leadership of software/analytics-product teams.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident with 3+ years of continuous U.S. residency and the ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in technical program or project management.
• Direct experience managing teams that build and maintain software or analytics products.
• Working knowledge of distributed computing environments (e.g., Apache Spark).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical work clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience running sprint-based or Agile delivery cycles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple work streams and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, run, and track all work across the program’s task areas: platform development, fraud analytics, and case delivery.
• Serve as the main technical point of contact for the government client and its stakeholders.
• Own the program schedule, risk register, and deliverable calendar; report status weekly and monthly.
• Guide architectural decisions, tool choices, and work priority; escalate decisions needing client sign-off.
• Run quality control and review deliverables before client submission.
• Plan and lead quarterly sprint cycles for feature development with engineering and analyst teams.
• Lead onboarding, transition, and knowledge-transfer for new staff and work.
• Supervise and mentor junior technical staff across engineering and analyst roles.
• Lead meetings; prepare meeting minutes and status reports.
• Identify program risks and raise them with mitigation plans.
• Support staffing plans and the security clearance process for new members.
