Job summary

Pacific Consulting Group (PCG) is expanding its Data Science & Engineering practice area and seeks a detail-oriented analyst to support customer experience research and analytics projects for large federal agency clients.

The role involves working with large-scale datasets, modern analytics tooling, and the full project lifecycle from data pipeline development through insight delivery. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
• 2–4 years of full-time experience in a data analyst or similar role
• Proficiency in relational SQL across one or more platforms (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
• Experience developing reports and presentations that communicate quantitative findings to varied audiences
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data visualizations and dashboards that surface actionable analytics insights for client stakeholders
• Build and maintain automated, integrated data pipelines
• Collect, clean, and analyze data using a range of methods and tools, with rigorous attention to data quality
• Integrate analytical systems with operational systems and verify data accuracy
• Extract, transform, and visualize diverse datasets to generate new business insights
• Develop clear, compelling data narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Deliver work products consistently across the project lifecycle, meeting or exceeding client expectations

Pacific Consulting Group (PCG) is expanding its Data Science & Engineering practice area and is looking for a detail-oriented, analytically minded professional to support customer experience research and analytics projects for large federal agency clients. This role offers meaningful exposure to large-scale datasets, modern analytics tooling, and the full project lifecycle from data pipeline development through insight delivery. It’s a strong fit for someone with an interest and experience in data science, visualization, and modeling who wants to work on substantive problems with real client impact.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust clearance (moderate risk background check). Eligibility is limited to U.S. Citizens or permanent residents with at least three years of continuous U.S. residency. PCG is unable to sponsor H-1B visas. Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with three or more years of continuous U.S. residency, with the ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust clearance (required for federal contractor work)
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
• 2–4 years of full-time experience in a data analyst or similar role
• Proficiency in relational SQL across one or more platforms (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase)
• Experience developing reports and presentations that communicate quantitative findings to varied audiences
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently, with sound judgment and follow-through

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on client-facing project teams with defined timelines and deliverables
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data storytelling techniques
• Exposure to federal government data environments or large-scale administrative datasets
• Demonstrated interest in applying emerging analytics methods and tools
