Job summary

Shield AI in San Diego is seeking a Technical Program Manager to ensure on-time, on-quality releases of the Hivemind Enterprise SDK that empowers Shield AI and partner developers to build autonomous unmanned systems.

You will coordinate with sponsors, product managers, designers and a cross-functional engineering team to plan complex software test automation and flight test initiatives, driving improvements in process and delivery.

Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years in Program Management, Engineering Management or Software Test Engineering.
Experience driving testing of complex software and integrated HW/SW systems.
Experience driving release management and software test operations.
You have a track record of driving results, not just providing status.
You have solid technical foundations in test engineering and software development.

Responsibilities

Drive planning, execution, and delivery of complex software releases for Hivemind Enterprise.
Drive major initiatives building out rigorous simulation-based test automation for autonomy software.
Drive large complex test operations from CI through HIL and flight test.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Facilitate regular stakeholder communication on status and challenges.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and tools.
