Amazon in Sunnyvale is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the Alexa Devices initiative. You will own concept development, drive cross-functional programs across HW, OS, software, UX, finance and marketing, and ship devices globally with rigorous program discipline.

You will partner with engineering, product and leadership to launch Alexa devices, manage complex product cycles, and balance cost, schedule and quality while delivering top experiences for customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of collaborating with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management with software engineering teams.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational relationships with support teams and internal partners to drive performance.
• Demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills with data-driven business cases.
• Collaborate with Customers, Sponsors, Technical PMs and internal teams on complex solutions.
• Proactively simplify processes and improve programs.
• Contribute to and influence technical designs.
• Lead cross-group teamwork across competing priorities.
• Deliver large, complex technical projects and programs efficiently.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, escalate issues, and balance business with technical needs.
• Identify and mitigate risks at multiple levels.
• Create and disseminate program information to stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25%.
