Job summary

Workiva Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive multi-team software programs, ensuring alignment across Engineering, Product, and UX. You’ll read signals, manage risks, and surface blockers to keep delivery on track.

You'll engage in technical conversations, influence direction without direct authority, and apply AI-enabled workflows to accelerate communication and improve shared context across programs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical program or project management experience within a software engineering environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical/STEM field or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience operating across Engineering, Product, and UX in a multi-team software organization.

Responsibilities

• Assess whether programs are structured to succeed and address gaps.
• Drive alignment across Engineering, Product, and UX as conditions change.
• Identify blockers and choose the right lever to remove them (facilitation, coordination, escalation).
• Surface recurring friction patterns and drive improvements in planning, coordination, and execution.
• Prepare the organization for ownership transitions before responsibility shifts.
• Leverage AI tools to synthesize information and accelerate communication.
