Job summary

Otto Aerospace is seeking a Lead Technical Program Manager, Engineering to direct a team of TPMs within the Air Vehicle Engineering Definition group. You will drive program execution across the full lifecycle, balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality while partnering with engineering leaders.

The role demands seasoned leadership, strong communication, and proactive risk management. The position is remote for now with relocation to Jacksonville, FL planned in 2026, and travel as needed to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in technical program/project management, preferably aviation.
• 2+ years in leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of TPMs to coordinate and deliver products on schedule and within budget.
• Define and enforce the PMO execution operating model across teams.
• Coordinate engineering execution from requirements to production including design, testing, and certification.
• Manage risks, issues, and opportunities with program metrics and visibility.
• Support supplier strategy and execution.
