Job Description

We need a highly talented Technical Program Manager for the Region Build Strategy and Programs organization to help lead the most critical functions of our OCI business. This person will be directly responsible for leading programs focused on region build automation and delivery.
This high-visibility and high-impact role will help shape our future Oracle cloud business and enable growth. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across all cross-organizational functions to deliver results.
You should have a strong multidisciplinary operations, technology, and business background. You should also have a track record of influencing and presenting to senior business and technology leaders and driving critical delivery initiatives at the highest levels. Strong executive communications, customer engagement, and business analytics skills are essential.
Responsibilities
Job Requirements:
+ Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level.
+ Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands.
+ Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.
+ Strong experience of software development process models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
+ Strong skills to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues.
+ Experience with technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and technical documentation.
+ Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership.
+ Aptitude to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures.
+ Experience in analyzing complex customer contracts to obtain a complete understanding of terms related to cloud infrastructure.
+ Work as a lead contributor individually, and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others as needed/requested.
+ Drive other obligations management duties, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience as hands-on technical project / program manager; preferably in a related industry.
+ Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of software development and experience managing cloud services
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 10+ years of project management, product design or related experience
+ BS degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience (MS Preferred)
+ Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $78,000 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
