Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Technical Professional - Civil to lead civil design efforts in a hybrid office/remote role in the United States. You will prepare construction quality documentation, act as a civil project lead, and provide design documents for site planning and development.

The role requires an undergraduate engineering degree with 10+ years of related experience (15+ years typical). Proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD is expected.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering with 10+ years of related experience; 25+ years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with roadway design and stormwater management.
• Railroad design experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD.

Senior Technical Professional - Civil

Under broad direction, functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far-reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company. Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies. Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area. Job role contributes directly to value creation. Role will be a hybrid work schedule with office work as required as well remote work options.

Requirements/Qualifications
