Job summary

Nagarro is seeking an experienced Proxy Product Owner to lead delivery for banking/digital finance initiatives in the United States. You will translate vision into actionable user stories, manage the channel backlog, and drive agile ceremonies with cross-functional teams across UX/UI, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

In this role, you will oversee releases, plan deployments, coordinate readiness, and ensure governance and audit compliance.

Qualifications

Total Experience 10+ years in relevant domains.
Strong experience in Banking/Financial Services apps.
Hands-on as a Proxy Product Owner with SDLC exposure.

Responsibilities

Act as the Proxy Product Owner between the Channel Product Owner and the development squad.
Translate product vision and requirements into actionable user stories and backlog items.
Maintain, prioritize and manage the channel development backlog.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
Primary point of contact for the development team on backlog and product queries.
Collaborate with UX/UI, Engineering and QA teams to ensure high-quality feature delivery.
Monitor sprint progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
Plan and oversee software releases, deployments and production rollouts.
Coordinate release readiness across Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure and Business teams.
Manage release calendars, dependencies, UAT, production validation and rollback plans.
Ensure compliance with change management, governance and audit requirements.
Identify and mitigate release risks, issues and dependencies.
Monitor release performance and drive post-release reviews and continuous improvement.
