Job summary

Capital Bank, N.A. seeks a Product Owner for Core Banking & Ancillary Systems to own the bank’s core banking platform and related products, including online banking, treasury, and payments.

You will align roadmaps with business goals and manage the backlog to drive compliant, efficient solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams, translate requirements into clear user stories, and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in banking operations, technology, or product management.
• Familiarity with core banking systems (FIS, Fiserv, Jack Henry, Temenos, Finastra) and ancillary products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with dashboard reporting applications and presenting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and business owner for the Bank’s core banking system and ancillary apps.
• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Gather and document requirements; maintain and prioritize backlog.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria for development and testing.
• Collaborate with IT, vendors, and users to deliver features on time.
• Lead UAT to ensure changes meet requirements and needs.
