Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive AI-powered analytics in healthcare. You will define product requirements and success metrics, partner with ML engineers and clinicians, and lead a cross-functional team through product lifecycle from ideation to go-live.

You will align stakeholders, quantify business value, ensure data interoperability, and maintain dashboards showing ROI while applying Agile practices and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

5+ years of overall work experience.
3+ years working cross-functionally with ML Engineering and Data Science.
2+ years in Product Management or closely related roles with data scientists and engineers.
2+ years in AI, data analytics, or complex analytics using healthcare data.
2+ years operating in a complex stakeholder environment.
2+ years communicating technical concepts to business and clinical stakeholders.
2+ years delivering products across the full lifecycle.
Demonstrated track record of successful product delivery.
Strong QA methodologies knowledge and best practices.
2+ years driving results in fast-paced settings.
Familiarity with MLOps, model monitoring, drift detection, and threshold calibration.
Familiarity with healthcare data interoperability standards.

Responsibilities

Create product requirements documents, acceptance criteria, and detailed product specifications.
Support Engineering and Data Science by clarifying requirements and enabling technical discussions.
Facilitate problem solving and prioritization across teams balancing speed, scale, accuracy, and quality.
Define data SLAs and interface contracts and ensure cross-team hand-offs.
Develop go-live timelines with data science and engineering partners.
Align timelines and scope with developer teams and stakeholders.
Work with clinicians and operations to confirm business value and quantify solution value.
Liaise with clinicians to validate model results and support review/refinement.
Define, track, and analyze product performance metrics to drive prioritization and ROI.
Maintain product roadmaps with internal customers and executive stakeholders.
Follow Agile best practices and coach the scrum team.
Lead and guide a dedicated Scrum team of data scientists and software engineers.
Contribute to AI-powered analytics supporting clinical decision making.

Requirements

5+ years of overall work experience
3+ years’ experience working cross-functionally with Machine Learning Engineering and Data Science
2 years’ Product Management, Product Management-adjacent, or Consulting experience closely partnering with Data Scientists and Engineers
2+ years’ experience working with AI, data analytics, data products, and/or complex analytics utilizing clinical or claims data
2+ years demonstrating the ability to operate effectively within a complex stakeholder environment
2+ years demonstrating the ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders, including clinicians, and business concepts to technical teams
2+ years of experience supporting and managing products throughout the full lifecycle
Proven track record contributing to successful product delivery
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices
2+ years demonstrating the ability to drive results in complex, fast-paced environments
Familiarity with MLOps, including model monitoring, data/concept drift detection and threshold calibration
Familiarity with healthcare data interoperability standards
Deep knowledge of healthcare data, including clinical and claims data
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field required
