Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager, AI & Data Solutions based in the United States.

We are seeking a hands-on, technically skilled product leader who can transform complex customer data challenges into practical, high-value solutions. In this role, you will work directly with customers and executive stakeholders to understand business needs, identify relevant data, and rapidly develop prototypes that demonstrate measurable value. You will combine product management expertise with practical technical skills, using SQL, APIs, low-code tools, and AI-assisted development to build and validate working solutions. You will also help turn successful customer-specific implementations into scalable product capabilities by translating insights into clear requirements for Engineering and Product teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces ambiguity, and balances rapid experimentation with sound technical judgment. This is an opportunity to shape AI- and data-driven solutions while making a direct impact on customer outcomes and product innovation.

Accountabilities
  • Understand customer needs: Engage directly with customers and executive stakeholders to clarify business challenges, identify relevant data sources, and define practical initial solutions.
  • Build and iterate on solutions: Develop and refine prototypes, reports, workflows, and lightweight integrations using SQL, APIs, low-code platforms, and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Ensure solution quality: Manage data mapping, output accuracy, edge cases, usability, acceptance testing, and customer feedback throughout the development process.
  • Validate before delivery: Independently test and troubleshoot solutions to identify and resolve issues before presenting them to customers.
  • Translate insights into product capabilities: Turn successful customer-specific solutions into clear, actionable requirements for reusable and scalable product features.
  • Communicate recommendations and tradeoffs: Present solutions to customer leaders, explain technical options, and set realistic expectations about current capabilities, development needs, timelines, and next steps.
  • Collaborate with Engineering: Partner with software engineers and other technical teams when solutions require deeper architecture, security reviews, production support, or long-term scalability.
  • Manage ambiguity and risk: Keep projects progressing despite incomplete requirements, identify technical risks early, and recommend practical paths forward.
  • Drive measurable outcomes: Deliver useful working solutions quickly, incorporate customer feedback, and ensure successful prototypes are supported by well-tested requirements and effective engineering handoffs.
Requirements
  • Experience managing, building, or delivering B2B SaaS products involving complex customer data and business workflows.
  • Strong SQL skills and practical experience working with APIs, data integrations, and data quality challenges.
  • Regular hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding or development tools to build, prototype, and test functional solutions.
  • Sufficient technical depth to independently investigate issues, troubleshoot problems, and collaborate effectively with software engineers.
  • Proven ability to translate loosely defined customer needs into practical solutions, clear product requirements, and actionable development plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and executive-level customers.
  • A track record of delivering useful solutions quickly, even when initial requests are ambiguous or requirements are incomplete.
  • Sound technical judgment in determining when rapid prototyping is appropriate and when a solution requires more robust engineering, architecture, security, or production support.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and product scalability.
  • A customer-focused, hands-on mindset and the ability to move confidently between discovery, development, testing, and product planning.
Benefits
  • Work arrangement: Remote position within the United States.
  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • Technical impact: Opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, data, customer solutions, and product development.
  • Ownership and collaboration: Direct engagement with customers and executive stakeholders, with close collaboration across Product and Engineering.
  • Innovation: Opportunity to prototype new solutions, validate ideas quickly, and help shape scalable product capabilities.
  • Compensation and additional benefits: Salary, healthcare coverage, paid time off, retirement benefits, and other employment perks are not specified in the provided job description. Candidates should confirm these details with the hiring company.
