Job summary

Infosys Financial Services unit seeks a Domain Consultant 3 to drive governance and platform engineering, delivering scalable, secure IT solutions for banking, wealth and insurance sectors. You will shape architecture, evaluate IT choices, and document technical concepts for stakeholders.

You will lead cross‑functional initiatives, manage risks, and contribute to transformational programs across cloud‑native and DevSecOps practices. Relocation/travel may be required.

In the assigned Job Role of Domain Consultant 3, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Perform business analysis projects using advanced techniques (e.g., predictive analytics, scenario modelling) to identify strategic opportunities within the domain, influencing long‑term decisions and value chain optimization
• Perform detailed evaluations of IT solutions, leveraging domain expertise to assess effectiveness and alignment with client goals, guiding strategic technology decisions
• Create documentation for systems, ensuring precision and thoroughness, while leading efforts to articulate sophisticated technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
• Perform specialized research on third‑party products, providing in‑depth insights on features, performance, and integration capabilities to ensure alignment with client needs and industry standards
• Create solution architectures and develop comprehensive architectural diagrams, ensuring scalability, resilience, and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Run the technical aspects of implementation by applying domain knowledge and ensuring scalable optimal system performance. Design and execute maintenance strategies to ensure long‑term system reliability

Your contribution to the team:

• Expertise in of IT solutions and solution architecture for specific sectors
• Proficiency in evaluating IT solutions and aligning them with business enhancement goals
• A focus on innovation and adaptability for integrating new technologies
• Proactive problem‑solving to streamline complex requirements.
• Skilled in research, innovation adoption, and designing scalable architectures, aligned with industry standards and best practices

Required Skill and Experience

• Platform Governance & Compliance Management experience with developer platforms, technology standards, controls, and governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, engineering standards, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience translating security, risk, compliance, and architecture requirements into actionable epics, user stories, and delivery plans.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives involving Platform Engineering.
• Strong Program/Project Management skills including planning, dependency management, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting.
• Expertise in risk management, audit readiness, compliance monitoring, control gap identification, and remediation tracking.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Hands‑on experience with Platform Engineering and Internal Developer Platforms (IDP).
• Strong knowledge of GitLab CI/CD, Developer Portals, and Software Template frameworks.
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps.
• Experience implementing and governing cloud‑native engineering frameworks and technology governance models.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, developer tooling ecosystems, and open‑source technologies.
• Experience supporting large‑scale digital transformation, engineering modernization, or developer productivity programs.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, Certified Product Owner (CSPO/PSPO), SAFe Product Owner, or related governance/project management certifications.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
