Job summary

Epirus is a high-growth defense technology company seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead R&D projects from planning to first-article delivery. You’ll serve as both scrum master and product owner, partnering with engineering and operations under the Manager of Technical Project Management in the ETO.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, sales, and operations to align goals, create agile/hybrid plans, and remove obstacles to maximize value for customers and Epirus.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years in project management, esp. in high-growth startups and aerospace.
• Experience deploying and integrating hardware and software systems.
• Experience building, leading, and developing small teams of engineers.
• Prior systems engineering or software integration experience.
• Experience hosting and leading technical and non-technical reviews with cross-functional audiences.
• Experience building and managing project assets like schedules, budgets, and risk registers.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between ETO and other department stakeholders (marketing, sales, operations) for one or multiple efforts.
• Ensure teams are aligned on goals and timelines to build the best products.
• Create and own agile/hybrid project plans including schedules, budgets, and artifacts.
• Serve as a servant leader to an interdisciplinary scrum team to deliver high value.
• Remove obstacles and find ways to do things better, faster, and more efficiently.
• Track delivery of technical features and report progress to stakeholders.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and obstacles and resolve them proactively.
• Drive company goals by delivering promises and foreseeing future opportunities.
