Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Technical Platform Architect to help implement and manage cutting-edge data platforms while ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and optimized for AI-driven insights. This position will be full-time and remote.

What You’ll Do
Design and implement scalable microservices architectures to support data platforms and AI applications, enhancing flexibility and performance
Define scalable reference architectures for AI, data, and automation platforms across Azure and AWS
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and design tailored data solutions, ensuring delivery meets or exceeds expectations
Engage in hands-on prototyping of new technology solutions, collaborating across teams to drive innovation
Lead technical design of infrastructure and solution blueprints that span services such as Azure ML, OpenAI, SageMaker, Lambda, and API Gateway
Technical oversight of Azure DevOps pipelines and GitHub Actions to automate build, test, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning
Define best practices for deploying AI models, APIs, data pipelines, and copilots into secure, multi-tenant environments
Work closely with business and technical teams throughout the software development life cycle, making major technical and architectural decisions
Maintain architectural documentation and technical assets including diagrams, runbooks, and playbooks
Evaluate and select third-party components, frameworks, or accelerators to support GenAI/ML system delivery
What You'll Need
Required:
7+ years of experience in microservices architecture, platform engineering, or solution design
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data science, data analytics, or a related field
Strong leadership skills with experience in enterprise-level projects and executive engagement.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure platform architecture, including services such as Azure ML, OpenAI, App Services, Key Vault, and Azure Functions
Working experience with AWS services such as SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and S3
Proficiency in Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts) and/or GitHub Actions for CI/CD orchestration
Experience in containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS) and microservices architecture
Ability to design multi-cloud architectures that account for compliance, cost, and technical complexity
Familiarity with .NET framework and programming languages (Python, R, Scala, Java)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation and teamwork skills
Preferred:
Familiarity with hybrid environments and cloud migration strategy
Microsoft or AWS certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
Exposure to public sector or regulated industries (e.g., state government, healthcare, education)
Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting complex cloud-native systems
Familiarity with GenAI models and AWS Bedrock experience
Experience in Agile methodology and working on Agile projects
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $170,000 - $190,000 annually (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
