Job summary

PotomacWave is looking for a Technical Nuclear Intelligence Analyst to join our team supporting a Federal client in Washington, DC. This position involves managing and disseminating written technical intelligence products, providing customized briefings and assessments to senior DOE and NNSA policymakers, and interfacing with IC and DOE National Laboratories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline (nuclear/chemical/mechanical/electrical engineering, chemistry, or physics).
• Master’s Degree or PhD is desired.
• Experience analyzing technical and scientific data on nuclear topics.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to present arguments clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have an active DOE Q or Top-Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop all-source research and technical analysis to produce finished intelligence products for DOE/NNSA HQ, field staff, and IC.
• Coordinate with DOE/NNSA officials and laboratory experts to produce customized technical assessments.
• Interface with DOE/NNSA labs to develop sound, rigorous analyses.
• Monitor open-source reporting for relevance to IN-10 missions and inform DOE community of items of interest.
• Respond to inquiries regarding IN’s equities.
• Prepare briefing materials for senior DOE/NNSA personnel and IC customers.
• Complete individual and team tasks from management in support of strategic missions.
• Attend interagency working group meetings.
