Qualifications

• Experience in technical modeling, systems analysis, or technology strategy.
• Deep understanding of HDD architecture, physics, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience building and maintaining structured models.
• Ability to translate technical insights into competitive market and cost/value competitiveness.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, operations, sourcing, marketing, finance, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quantitative HDD cost models across mechanical, magnetic, electronic, and production elements.
• Coordinate competitive cost teardown, cost modeling and scenario analysis.
• Partner with pricing teams and portfolio owners to provide technical insight for roadmaps, pricing strategy, and customer discussions.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Operations Research, or equivalent experience
