Snapshot of Your Day

As a Senior Technical Leader for Technical Issue Resolution, you will serve as the key leader for the identification, prioritization, escalation, and resolution of complex technical issues impacting fleet reliability, customer operations, and business performance. This highly visible role requires strategic leadership, technical depth, and strong cross-functional influence to drive accelerated issue resolution across global organizations.

You will partner closely with Regional Service Units, Engineering, Product Management, Field Service, Repair, Supply Management, and customers to lead resolution efforts for critical fleet issues, with primary responsibility for 60Hz frames (5F, 6G, Mature W, 6-8H, and 9HL), including the immediate top focus on the latest 9HL and 5F fleet.

This role demands a leader who can operate at both strategic and technical levels, align diverse stakeholders, and drive complex issues to resolution while maintaining focus on customer outcomes and business priorities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Facilitate cross-functional resolution discussions with Engineering, Product Management, Regional Service Units, Field Service, Repair, Supply Management, and other stakeholders to drive alignment on investigation plans, corrective actions, and execution timelines.
  • Engage directly with customers and senior leadership, providing updates on issue status, mitigation plans, business impact, and recovery progress while building confidence through transparent communication.
  • Drive technical and business decision-making during escalations, remove organizational roadblocks, resolve conflicting priorities, and ensure rapid execution of mitigation and corrective actions.
  • Review root cause analysis, reliability data, and fleet trends to identify systemic risks, emerging issues, and opportunities to improve product performance, reliability, and customer outcomes while championing continuous improvement initiatives, tracking corrective actions to closure, strengthening operational processes, and driving long-term investments in reliability, quality, and fleet performance to prevent issue recurrence.
  • Improve service reliability and customer trust.
  • Significantly improve frame competitiveness.
  • Reduce business and operational risk.
  • Enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness while strengthening long-term frame reliability and operational excellence.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience desired.
  • Significant experience in Gas Turbines.
  • Strategic thinker who can connect technical issue resolution to broader business objectives.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Calm and decisive in high-pressure situations.
  • Skilled at driving alignment across diverse teams and organizations.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for operational excellence.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on sustainable outcomes rather than temporary fixes.
  • Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
