Senior Technical Integration Consultant- MFT, Migrations, ETL Experience- US Based Remote

The Senior Technical Integration Consultant works directly with customers and our B2B consulting team to deploy solutions supporting clients' business and technology needs.

The role involves collaborating with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Junior Consultants to ensure timely project delivery. The ideal candidate is a motivated, analytical problem solver with strong soft skills, capable of learning multiple technology disciplines.

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with IBM B2B Integrator / Sterling File Gateway, including:

  • Installation, configuration, upgrades, and platform migration of multi-node environments
  • Maintenance and administration of IBM B2B Integrator / Sterling File Gateway
  • Business Process orchestration
  • Building and deploying custom Services, Adapters, and Protocols
  • Data translation using IBM B2B Integrator maps (e.g., XML to Flat File)

The candidate should be familiar with:

  • Virtualized and hosted server architectures
  • Cloud deployment (IBM, Amazon, Azure, GCP)
  • SDLC processes
  • Security standards (PGP/GPG, SSL, SSH)
  • Database management systems (MSSQL, Oracle, DB2)
  • LDAP and authentication methods
  • System and port architecture
  • EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT)
  • Managed File Transfer (MFT)

Preferred knowledge includes:

  • IBM Sterling Secure Proxy
  • IBM Sterling External Authentication Server
  • IBM Control Center
  • IBM Connect Direct
  • Java extensibility in IBM Sterling Integrator
  • Web Services and REST APIs
  • Experience in consulting and cloud infrastructure tuning

The responsibilities include:

  • Documenting business needs and translating them into technical solutions
  • Collaborating on project timelines and tasks
  • Delegating and overseeing team tasks
  • Creating and maintaining deliverables and reports
  • Mentoring junior team members
  • Estimating, building, and testing solution artifacts
  • Proactively identifying improvement opportunities

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technology, or equivalent experience.
