Job summary

Cat Daddy Games, LLC is seeking a Technical Designer to join our team in Kirkland, WA. You will design, prototype, and ship features for free-to-play mobile games, bridging design and engineering and taking a feature from pitch to live build.

You will write specs, prototype in Unity, wire into live services, and tune features post-launch while collaborating with engineers, artists, and product managers to balance fun, difficulty, and monetization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of game design experience for free-to-play mobile titles.
• Hands-on practice with agentic tooling and workflows used daily.

Responsibilities

• Design new gameplay experiences including events, game modes, and mini-games.
• Own features end to end, from pitch through a working prototype to live tuning.
• Write specs with clear intent, constraints, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and failure states.
• Prototype in Unity and wire into live service systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance fun, difficulty, and monetization.
