Job summary

Halliburton is seeking an experienced electromechanical assembler in Houston, TX to build Intelligent Completion tools and subassemblies to IPC standards. You will perform soldering, wiring, PCB work, and connector installation, and conduct functional testing to meet strict quality requirements.

The role supports incoming inspections and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Certification in IPC/WHMA-A-620 desired or experience soldering to IPC standards.
• Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and interpreting drawings/schematics/manufacturer procedures.
• Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of quality inspection processes, nonconformance/rework, and manufacturing safety.
• Participation in HSE and continuous improvement programs.

Job Duties

• Perform electrical and electro-mechanical assembly of Intelligent Completion tools and related subassemblies following approved manufacturing procedures and engineering drawings.
• Conduct soldering, wiring, PCB assembly, feedthrough connector installation, and other electronics manufacturing activities while maintaining product quality requirements.
• Execute functional testing, electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and validation of assemblies to ensure compliance with manufacturing and quality standards.
• Support incoming inspections, nonconformance investigations, rework activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve product reliability and reduce defects.

Qualifications

• PC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certified desired and/or with demonstrated soldering and electronics assembly experience to IPC standards.
• Minimum experience in electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, electrical testing, and interpretation of engineering drawings, schematics, and manufacturing procedures.
• Working knowledge of quality inspection processes, nonconformance/rework activities, and manufacturing safety requirements, including participation in HSE and continuous improvement programs.
