Job summary

Prescient Edge seeks a Sr. Technical Editor (QAF) to support a Federal Government client. Availability depends on contract award.

The role requires extensive editing of intelligence products to ensure grammar, clarity, and adherence to QAF and DIA standards. The candidate will collaborate with AA owners, developers, and stakeholders to maintain consistent formatting, style guidance, and templates across technical documentation, while ensuring proper classification markings per IC guidance and

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Master’s Degree in an area related to the labor category or a bachelor’s degree with an additional 5 years of related Senior experience as substitute to the master’s degree.
  • Security clearance required TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency.
  • Ensures that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields.
  • Amends draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text.
  • Ensure proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance.
  • Works with authors to revise products for narrative organization and negotiate further revisions as needed.
  • Review and edit technical documentation submitted by AA owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure clarity, accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the QAF team to review and edit QAF documentation, policy, and other documents.
  • Ensure that all documentation is properly formatted, styled, and organized to meet the QAF and DIA style requirements.
  • Collaborate with QAF Team to develop and maintain guidance for technical documentation to ensure consistency in formatting, styling, and organization.
  • Collaborate with QAF Team to develop and maintain templates for technical documentation, including QAF documentation, policy, and other documents.

Description:

Job Requirements

Desired experiences :

  • Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Desired education:

  • Master’s Degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education: or have a bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related Senior experience for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the master’s degree.

Security Clearance:

  • Security clearance required TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY.

Location:

  • NCR to include Maryland and Virginia.
