Job summary

The Freeman Company seeks a Senior Technical Director to lead and deliver complex event technology and production programs. You will set technical strategy, mentor directors, and collaborate with clients, sales, and operations to drive scalable, profitable experiences.

Based in a hybrid role with travel, you will oversee multi-discipline teams, develop production plans, and contribute to proposals and client presentations, shaping our Studio Blue projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience required.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical direction for large-scale, complex events and experiential programs.
• Experience supporting technical proposals, estimates, and RFP responses.
• Executive presence with ability to communicate with senior clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provides senior technical leadership across complex, high-profile, multi-discipline event programs.
• Mentors Technical Directors through scheduling, training, performance feedback, and guidance.
• Develops client relationships to position Studio Blue as a strategic partner and advisor, supporting growth and delivery.
