Job summary

Glint Tech Solutions LLC is hiring a Senior Technical Contributor / Lead Software Engineer in Alpharetta, GA for an onsite contractor role. The position focuses on technical leadership and hands-on delivery within the Digital Platform team, delivering high-quality client-facing systems of engagement.

Responsibilities include architectural guidance, feature development, and collaboration with product, architecture, and engineering partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack web development experience.
• 4+ years of cloud-native development (Azure and/or AWS).
• 4+ years of ASP.NET Core web/API development.
• Experience with OIDC and OAuth2.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred).
• CI/CD pipelines experience; Azure DevOps preferred.
• Experience with event-driven and microservice architectures.
• Git source control and Gitflow familiarity.
• Experience contributing to automated tests (unit/integration).
• Agile delivery experience (Kanban/Scrum).

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical contributor and technical owner for one or more major sub-systems within the Digital Platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to translate objectives into technical design.
• Provide leadership for design and development of custom product features on the Digital roadmap.
• Build engaging, performant, secure, and resilient applications and APIs.
• Design or redesign solution architecture for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop high-quality, well-tested software aligned with delivery timelines.
• Contribute to automated testing across unit, integration, and functional tests.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers.
• Contribute to platform architecture evolution for flexibility and testability.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams as a senior individual contributor.

Project Description

This individual contributor role supports the Digital Platform team, delivering high-quality, client-facing systems of engagement that enhance the overall client experience. The Lead Software Engineer provides technical leadership, architectural guidance, and hands-on engineering contributions across delivery teams, working closely with product, business, architecture, and engineering partners. This is a contractor role and does not include people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical contributor and technical owner for one or more major sub-systems within the Digital Platform
• Collaborate with business partners, product managers, architects, and engineering teams to understand strategic objectives, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Provide technical leadership for design and development of custom product features on the Digital roadmap
• Build engaging, performant, secure, and resilient applications and APIs
• Design and/or redesign solution architecture to improve system performance, scalability, maintainability, and resiliency
• Develop high-quality, well-tested software aligned with engineering standards and delivery timelines
• Contribute to automated testing through unit, integration, and functional test suites
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback to other developers
• Contribute to the evolution of platform architecture for greater flexibility, testability, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams while operating as a senior individual contributor

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of full-stack web application development experience with a proven track record of delivering well-architected software
• 4+ years of Azure and/or AWS cloud-native development experience; PaaS experience preferred
• 4+ years of experience in web and REST API development using ASP.NET Core
• Experience with OIDC and OAuth2 for web authentication and authorization
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database platforms; MongoDB experience preferred
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines; Azure DevOps preferred
• Experience building event-based and microservice-style architectures
• Experience with Git source control and Gitflow fundamentals
• Experience contributing to automated test suites, including unit and integration tests
• Experience working in Agile delivery models such as Kanban or Scrum
