Job summary

Aderant is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant to drive client implementations of our software solutions across professional services industries. You will gather business requirements, configure solutions, and lead deployment while ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams, provide training, and deliver go‑live support, workshops, and ongoing enablement. Travel to client sites is occasional as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years in professional services, consulting, or technical implementation roles.
• Strong technical aptitude with software configuration and system integration.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for client success.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, objectives, and challenges.
• Conduct discovery sessions, workshops, and interviews to understand client processes and workflows.
• Translate client requirements into detailed implementation plans and solution designs.
• Configure software solutions based on client requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Customize and tailor solutions to meet client needs, integrating with existing systems.
• Test and validate configurations to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
• Lead or support the implementation and deployment of software solutions, managing timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to execute project plans.
• Provide technical guidance and support during go-live activities, system integration, and UAT.
• Deliver product training sessions and workshops to client stakeholders, including end-users and admins.
• Create and maintain training materials, documentation, and user guides.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and ongoing support to maximize software value.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor for success.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and upsell based on client needs.
• Monitor client satisfaction and address concerns for long-term retention.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, support, and development teams on client requirements.
