The Opportunity

We are partnering with an established enterprise software company seeking a Senior Consultant to join its customer-facing consulting organization.

This is a highly technical, post-sales consulting role for someone who enjoys working directly with customers to solve complex business and technology challenges. Senior Consultants work across the full solution lifecycle, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and helping customers transform how work gets done.

The role combines technical consulting, software development, solution design, customer advisory, and emerging AI technologies. This is not simply an implementation role. Senior Consultants are expected to understand the underlying business problem, challenge assumptions when appropriate, recommend the right technical approach, and take ownership of successful delivery.

What You'll Do

• Partner directly with customers to understand complex business processes, technical requirements, and desired outcomes.
• Define, design, develop, and implement custom enterprise software and AI-enabled solutions.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable solution designs.
• Lead substantial portions of customer implementations across the full software development lifecycle.
• Design and build complex enterprise applications and workflows.
• Develop and manage relational data models, including database structures, queries, joins, and views.
• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, JDBC, and other integration technologies.
• Apply object-oriented programming concepts to solution development.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate emerging AI capabilities, including generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and prompt engineering.
• Collaborate with customer technical teams, business stakeholders, and internal cross-functional teams throughout implementation.
• Work within Agile delivery environments utilizing practices such as sprint planning, stand-ups, iterative development, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot complex technical and business challenges and identify root causes rather than simply addressing symptoms.
• Guide customers through technical decisions and recommended approaches.
• Mentor junior consultants and developers and help elevate the technical capabilities of the broader team.
• Help customers build the knowledge and capabilities necessary to become increasingly self-sufficient following implementation.
• Take ownership of delivery while adapting to changing customer environments, priorities, and projects.

What We're Looking For

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• 3+ years of hands‑on software development, technical consulting, or comparable enterprise application experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and delivering enterprise software solutions.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience designing or consuming APIs and system integrations.
• Understanding of modern software development practices, including testing, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Ability to gather and translate both functional and technical requirements.
• Experience working directly with customers or business stakeholders to solve complex problems.
• Ability to independently own meaningful portions of an implementation or technical project.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor others and provide technical leadership within a project team.
• Comfort operating in fast‑moving environments where customers, projects, and technical challenges may change.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.

This role is part of a highly collaborative, customer-facing consulting organization. Team members work closely with customers and internal technical teams, with in-person collaboration playing an important role in the delivery model.

Candidates should be comfortable with up to approximately 20% travel annually, depending on customer needs.
