Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a contract with a federal government client supporting the US Senate. The candidate will bridge business needs and technical solutions, drive secure, scalable implementations, and optimize authentication processes while leading a team of analysts in a Scrum environment.

The role focuses on requirements elicitation, backlog management, UAT coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent
7+ years in a Business Analysis, Scrum Master, or Project Management role in an Agile environment
Proficiency with GitLab and strong writing skills for Epics/User Stories

Responsibilities

Elicit requirements with product owners, stakeholders and SMEs
Create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria (Gherkin preferred) and non-functional requirements
Lead backlog refinement and ensure readiness for sprints
Identify gaps and propose data-driven solutions
Coordinate UAT and validate deliverables against requirements
Lead ceremonies and coach team on Agile principles
Track velocity, burndown/burnup, and cycle time
