Securian Financial is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst in Enterprise Cybersecurity Solutions to bridge business needs and technology. You will translate needs into clear requirements, write testable user stories, and guide solutions end-to-end.

You’ll collaborate across business and tech groups, lead discovery, validate outcomes, and support testing in a hybrid environment with emphasis on APIs, data flows, and system integrations.

Qualifications

• 2-4years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, databases, and data flows.
• Experience with cloud platforms or enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong facilitation skills and ability to drive clarity among stakeholders.
• Proven ability to organize complex information into structured documentation.
• Experience eliciting, documenting, organizing, and managing requirements.
• Skilled in using Excel and other tools to document and validate data during implementations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate objectives into actionable requirements.
• Lead discovery sessions, interviews, and process reviews to uncover needs.
• Gather, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and functional requirements.
• Write clear, concise user stories with acceptance criteria for development.
• Break down initiatives into epics, features, and stories for delivery readiness.
• Clarify ambiguous requests and document requirements consistently.
• Apply systems thinking to understand processes, dependencies, and impacts.
• Create process flows, diagrams, and business rules to improve design.
• Support user acceptance testing and validate delivered functionality.
• Collaborate across teams to manage changes and ensure implementation.
