The Panther Group is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to work with one of our partners, an investment bank. This position is fully onsite located in Greenwich, CT. This role is not open to Visas (OPT, H1B, etc.) or sponsorship now or in the future. Will not consider applicants that are not local or need to relocate.

Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

MUST HAVE:

• Experience in the financial industry
• 10+ years of overall experience
• Previous background or experience in software development or programming

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align IT business objectives;
• Review, analyze, and evaluate existing business systems and operational needs to identify areas for improvement;
• Document detailed business requirements and define project scope and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders;
• Assist with vendor relationships, including but not limited to their support process, managed services relationship, budget, and prioritize product enhancements;
• Perform comprehensive requirements analysis and continuous monitoring of processes to drive enhancements; and conduct user acceptance testing to validate system changes and ensure they meet stakeholders' needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in software development or programming
• Ability to support proposed IT strategies and process improvements;
• Strong resourcefulness and problem-solving skills to propose scalable solutions
• Experience in testing and mapping business processes and protocols
• Ability to leverage technology for effective data gathering and analysis (SQL and EXCEL including VLOOKUP)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or related field is preferred.
