Job summary

Workshop/APD Architecture, D.P.C is seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect with 8+ years of residential design experience to lead the technical development of complex architectural elements. The role focuses on translating ambitious design ideas into precise, buildable outcomes and coordinating with project teams to achieve signature features with excellence.

You will work on stairs, roofs, façades, and custom installations, producing detailed BIM models and documentation for construction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of work experience in architecture/interior design, residential or hospitality design.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and experience developing detailed construction documentation.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and architectural detailing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to integrate complex architectural elements into larger scopes.
• Develop specialty components such as stairs, roofs, façades, and custom installations.
• Translate design concepts into coordinated, buildable BIM models for documentation.
• Produce detailed Revit models and drawings to support fabrication and construction.
• Serve as a technical resource for problem solving and detailing strategies across phases.
• Participate in internal reviews and cross-team coordination to maintain design quality.
• Coordinate with consultants, fabricators, and contractors to ensure constructability and alignment with design intent.
