Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) in Reading, PA, onsite, seeks a Technical Lead / Engineering Lead to bridge business objectives and technical execution. Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering and architecture experience.
• Experience in full-stack enterprise application development with Java/Spring Boot.
• Deep MS SQL Server experience including schema design and optimization.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and deliver robust, scalable applications; contribute code and review peers.
• Lead offshore development team (India) including sprint planning and delivery accountability.
• Collaborate with BAs, product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Communicate status, manage risks, and align engineering with business priorities.

Title- Technical Lead / Engineering Lead

Location- Reading, PA, Onsite, 4 days/ week

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with 10+ years of proven software engineering, architecture, and team delivery experience. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution—partnering directly with Business Analysts and key stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, high-performing software solutions. You will own end-to-end architectural design, lead hands‑on development, manage an offshore development team in India, and drive modern AI-enabled engineering practices, including Agentic AI solutions on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Hands‑On Delivery: Design, architect, and deliver robust, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. Actively contribute code, conduct peer code reviews, and resolve complex technical blockers across the full stack.
• Requirements & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with BAs, product owners, and business leaders to translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications, system designs, and actionable sprint backlogs.
• Offshore Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a high‑performing offshore development team (India). Drive sprint planning, daily standups, code quality, and delivery accountability across time zones.
• Stakeholder Communication: Manage daily communication with key customers and internal stakeholders, providing transparent status updates, managing technical risks, and aligning engineering deliverables with business priorities.
• AI & Modern Engineering Innovation: Drive developer productivity by embedding GitHub Copilot and prompt engineering into the team's daily workflow. Lead the development of Agentic AI workflows and intelligent solutions on AWS.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Core Development: 10+ years of hands‑on experience in full‑stack enterprise application development.
• Backend: Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and RESTful API design.
• Database: Deep hands‑on experience with Relational Databases, specifically MS SQL Server (schema design, query optimization, stored procedures).
• Frontend: Proficiency in Angular (or modern TypeScript frameworks) for building responsive web applications.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with Bamboo, Bitbucket (or Git‑based equivalent tools), automated pipelines, and standard modern DevOps toolchains.
• AWS & Agentic AI: Hands‑on experience architecting and deploying cloud solutions on AWS, with practical exposure to Agentic AI frameworks, LLM integrations, and cloud‑native AI architectures.
• AI Tooling: Demonstrated experience utilizing GitHub Copilot, prompt engineering techniques, and AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate team velocity.
• Leadership: Proven track record of managing and coordinating daily work with offshore development teams (specifically India).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to interact directly with executive business stakeholders and client representatives.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cloud Data Platforms or modern event‑driven architectures.
• Background in Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies as a Technical Team Lead.
• Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) or Java technologies.
