Role/Responsibilities:

As the Senior Technical Architect for Salesforce Data Cloud, you will lead the strategic design and implementation of data architecture solutions that support digital banking and member engagement. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud, data integration, and enterprise-level solution architecture within the financial services industry. You will collaborate with technology leaders, data teams, and business stakeholders to architect scalable, secure, and compliant data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making and enhance our credit union’s digital transformation journey.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 15+ years of experience in data architecture or technical architecture roles, with at least 5 years focused on Salesforce Data Cloud within the financial services or banking domain.
2. Proven success in architecting data solutions for enterprise-level environments, especially within highly regulated industries.

Technical Expertise:

1. Expert knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, including data modeling, real-time data processing, segmentation, and integration capabilities.
2. Extensive experience with API development, RESTful services, and integration platforms like MuleSoft, especially within Salesforce and core banking environments.
3. Strong knowledge of data security, data privacy, and compliance standards, including PII protection and PCI-DSS.
4. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data management tools (ETL, SQL, and data lakes) to support enterprise data strategies.

Salesforce Certifications:

Preferred certifications include Salesforce Data Architect, Salesforce Application Architect, and Salesforce Certified Technical Architect.

Business Acumen:

1. Comprehensive understanding of data challenges, regulatory environments, and opportunities in digital banking, including member personalization and compliance.
2. Ability to align data architectures with business goals and digital transformation objectives.

Soft Skills:

1. Strong strategic and problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and innovation.
2. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of articulating architectural decisions to executive and technical audiences.
