Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale Oracle apps in Unix environments; proficiency with Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle IDS, and PL/SQL.
  • Adaptability to cover other applications; broad skill set valued.
  • Desirable: fraud investigation experience and data analytics track record; excellent communication skills.

  • Consults with Contractor and Government management to solve complex litigation support requirements.
  • Recommend technical solutions including applications development/maintenance, documentation, QA and user support.
  • Provide technical advice, supervision, and guidance to the contractor support team.
  • Evaluate programs for efficiency, interoperability with client systems and overall quality.
  • Evaluate software/hardware requirements and system integration opportunities.
  • Develop feasible alternatives and cost estimates; present findings to diverse audiences.
  • May perform supervisory or managerial duties.

The Opportunity

If you are a senior, highly technical professional looking to support a high-profile Federal Government client, this could be a position for you! CACI is looking to add to our senior technical team to support of the Department of Justice mission while working on critical matters and cases. The Technical Analyst is a very senior professional with outstanding or unique skills and analytic abilities, particularly with respect to specific application software, operating systems, or technologies. Inherent to the Technical Analyst position is the ability to lead as both a manager and mentor. Works with cutting-edge technology in both the eDiscovery and Data Analysis industries. CACI is also committed to growing our eDiscovery workforce and has included tuition reimbursement for Relativity certifications and the ACEDS certification. Responsibilities

The Technical Analyst consults with Contractor and Government management to solve complex litigation support requirements. If required by the litigation and approved by the COR, the analyst will make recommendations for technical solutions including applications development, applications maintenance, documentation, quality assurance and user support; provides technical advice, supervision, and guidance to the contractor support team.


Additional responsibilities include:



  • Evaluates programs in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, quality and interoperability with client systems.

  • Evaluates software and hardware requirements along with short and long range planning, including systems integration solutions and telecommunications requirements.

  • Translates advanced concepts into practical and effective solutions using structured techniques to define requirements.

  • Develops feasible alternatives and estimates costs of implementation.

  • Makes presentations of findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations to a variety of audiences, including non-technical personnel.

  • May be required to perform supervisory or managerial duties.

  • DOJ MBI must be obtainable (US citizenship required)

  • Candidates are expected to possess a minimum of five years of direct, hands-on experience performing the responsibilities outlined above. This level of experience is essential to ensure a comprehensive understanding and practical expertise relevant to the role.

  • Demonstrated mastery in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting applications is required. The ability to effectively utilize software or technology within a data analytics platform is strongly preferred.

  • For projects involving large-scale Oracle applications in Unix environments, candidates must have more than five years of experience developing such applications. This includes proficiency in integrating a range of Oracle products, features, and capabilities, including Oracle Forms and Reports, Oracle Internet Developer Suite, and PL/SQL functions and procedures. Competence in working with user exits to external programs and managing interactions with operating system shell scripts is also necessary.

  • Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate adaptability and a broad skill set, as other applications may require distinct sets of technical skills and competencies.

  • Relevant experience in fraud investigation and expertise with data analytics platforms are highly desirable. Candidates must provide evidence of a successful track record in resolving complex and challenging problems within relevant systems.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills are required to ensure clear, concise, and effective interaction with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.


Desired


  • Undergraduate degree strongly preferred; preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines. Graduate degree in computer science or information management/technology preferred.

  • Litigation support experience helpful.

  • Certifications with ESRI or Tableau preferred.

  • Some supervisory or managerial experience may be required.

  • Experience working on a Federal Contract a plus.


This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $113,200 - $237,800
