Job summary

Century Group is seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting to lead complex accounting initiatives and provide authoritative guidance across the organization. The role will develop policies, partner with business teams on new activities, and support audit and internal control programs while ensuring strong documentation and compliance.

The successful candidate will have a CPA, a accounting degree, and 4+ years of experience with a focus on technical accounting research and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in accounting and active CPA designation.
• 4+ years of accounting experience with exposure to technical accounting research and financial reporting matters.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting requirements and policy development practices.
• Experience with internal controls, compliance programs, and accounting documentation requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and enterprise resource planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting initiatives by researching complex transactions and providing accounting guidance to business partners.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation to support compliance and reporting requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate new business activities and recommend appropriate accounting treatment.
• Support audits, compliance initiatives, and internal control programs while ensuring proper documentation and execution.
• Deliver accounting training and educational resources that improve understanding of financial reporting requirements across the organization.
