Venteon is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Accountant for a multinational financial services client in Metro-Detroit. The role requires strong US GAAP/SEC knowledge, CPA, and 5+ years in public accounting or public company experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA is required.
• Public Accounting experience is preferred.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules.
• Develop clear written and verbal communications and presentations.
• Collaborate with Controller’s group and global teams across locations.
• Monitor new US GAAP/SEC guidance and assess implications for business units.
• Prepare technical accounting memos for complex transactions (ASC 842, ASC 606).
• Support continuous improvement and problem-solving in accounting processes.
