Job summary

Venteon is seeking an experienced Accountant to fill the newly created Corporate Intercompany Accountant opening in Troy, Michigan. Based in a rapidly growing company, this role focuses on intercompany transactions, eliminations, and the monthly close.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 5+ years of experience, and CPA or public accounting background preferred. A strong understanding of multi-entity manufacturing intercompany processes and transfer pricing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• CPA license or public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and close processes.
• Experience in multi-entity manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany transactions and intercompany reconciliations & eliminations – prepare and maintain intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries as part of the monthly and year end close process.
• Support month end and year end close processes.
• Ensure transfer pricing compliance – support adherence to established transfer pricing policies and documentation requirements in partnership with tax and finance teams.
• Facilitate audit and compliance efforts – provide audit support related to intercompany activity, including schedules, documentation, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Contribute to ERP implementation – participate in ERP system implementation and optimization efforts related to intercompany accounting, netting, and consolidation processes.
• Develop and maintain standard procedures – create and maintain detailed work instructions and process documentation for intercompany accounting activities to promote consistency and efficiency.
• Support public company readiness – assist in building scalable intercompany processes, controls, and documentation to support public company reporting requirements.
