Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC in Orlando is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to serve as a subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP and complex accounting matters.

You will own the research, interpretation, and implementation of new standards and partner with accounting and finance leadership on transactions. You will contribute to external financial reporting, policy development, and maintain up-to-date accounting policies.

Qualifications

• Active CPA or pursuit strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience researching ASC guidance and technical accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and document technical accounting issues under U.S. GAAP
• Interpret and apply ASC guidance to complex transactions and accounting matters
• Prepare accounting memos and supporting documentation for management and external auditors
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements
• Maintain and update accounting policies to ensure compliance with current accounting standards
