Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Technical Lead to head the Software Integrations team, owning architecture, mentoring engineers, and guiding greenfield integration platforms.

You will collaborate with managers and cross-functional groups to drive scalable, reliable cloud-native services on AWS using .NET/F#, Kafka, and modern engineering practices. The role emphasizes architecture ownership and hands-on delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production software systems.
• Deep expertise with .NET, including F# and functional programming concepts.
• Strong experience building event-driven systems using Kafka and messaging tech.
• Cloud-native AWS applications with CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
• Strong architecture, API design, domain modeling, and integration patterns.
• Proven ability to lead design reviews, architecture discussions, and decisions.
• Comfortable guiding greenfield initiatives from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, design, and decision-making for major initiatives.
• Define and evolve engineering standards and architectural patterns.
• Improve scalability, reliability, maintainability, and observability of platforms.
• Serve as primary technical advisor to the Engineering Manager and stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers in design, cloud architecture, and best practices.
• Lead technical interview rounds and provide hiring recommendations.
