Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a Senior Backend .NET Lead to guide a team building scalable backend services and microservices. You will architect APIs, optimize data access with EF or Dapper, and secure interfaces with OAuth2/JWT while collaborating across teams on Azure-based deployments.

Lead initiatives, mentor engineers, and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced client-site environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID.
• Experience building microservices and APIs.
• Knowledge of API security with OAuth2 and JWT.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
• Solid CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on with Docker and containerization.
• Proficiency in Git version control.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend .NET Developer to join our dynamic team as a Technical Team Lead. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in backend development using .NET technologies and will be responsible for leading the development of robust, scalable, and high-performance applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement microservices architectures, ensuring the highest standards of quality and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of backend services using .NET technologies.
• Architect and build microservices that are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to define and implement APIs.
• Utilize Entity Framework or Dapper for data access and manage relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Ensure the security of APIs through best practices in authentication and authorization, including OAuth2 and JWT.
• Work with message brokers like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus to facilitate communication between services.
• Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and design principles.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API development.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience in building microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.
• Knowledge of API security practices, including OAuth2 and JWT.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, with acceptable knowledge of AWS or GCP.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Experience in working with large-scale distributed systems.
