Job summary

DoiT is seeking a Senior Technical Content Writer – Data Platforms to join our global Marketing team in a fully remote role based in the United States. You will create ebooks, long-form guides, and webinar materials focused on Databricks and Snowflake cost management, working with SMEs and reviewers to ensure depth and accuracy.

You will drive research, structure complex topics for practitioners, and publish 2+ technical blogs per month, while collaborating across cross-platform topics including

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of technical content experience with a portfolio in data engineering or cloud infrastructure.
• Experience writing for Databricks and Snowflake practitioners: data/analytics/platform engineers or FinOps.
• Hands-on familiarity with Databricks and Snowflake: understand clusters, compute, and cost levers.
• Ebook and long-form guide experience: focus on structure, pacing, and readability.
• Senior-level independence: drives workstreams and research agendas.
• Strong editorial judgment: ability to iterate drafts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Research, outline, draft, and revise comprehensive guides on Databricks and Snowflake cost management.
• Structure complex technical material for practitioners who demand depth.
• Own the full revision cycle with SMEs and external reviewers.
• Produce technical blog posts on Databricks, Snowflake cost, and query optimization (2+ per month).
• Write from observed patterns rather than marketing assertions.
• Adapt posts from longer assets or develop standalone pieces tied to product updates.
• Develop outlines, speaker scripts, and slide frameworks for webinars.
• Collaborate with internal engineers and external practitioners to preserve voice.
• Extend coverage to Snowflake and BigQuery as the program grows.
