Job summary

CoorsTek's Center for Advanced Materials in Golden, CO seeks a Senior Team Lead for Advanced Materials Processing. This hands-on leadership role directs operators, leads safety and quality initiatives, and drives continuous improvement in ceramic powder production.

You will partner with engineering and planning to optimize throughput and maintain high standards. The role emphasizes process optimization, hands-on equipment work, and strong team development in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Education as stated: HS diploma required; associate/bachelor preferred.
• 3-5 years in advanced manufacturing or powder production environments.
• Experience leading technical teams in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily activities of operators producing ceramic powders.
• Meet production schedules with emphasis on quality, yield, and on-time delivery.
• Operate and set up advanced materials processing equipment per standards.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment; ensure PPE compliance.
• Coach, mentor, and perform performance feedback for team members.
• Drive continuous improvement and troubleshoot production issues.
