Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Sr. Teacher to lead curriculum implementation and mentor teachers, creating a safe, nurturing classroom for children.

You will partner with parents to deliver high-quality care and education, support enrollment and accreditation efforts, and build strong relationships with families and staff. The role emphasizes direct classroom leadership, adherence to state requirements, and commitment to child development across multiple centers.

Qualifications

• 6 months of center-based ECE experience.
• Meet & maintain state-specific requirement to supervise children alone in a classroom.
• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center's success; collaborate with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, authorities, and partners.
