Job summary

CarverBeth is looking for a highly experienced Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) Elimination Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support modernization efforts across the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN). The role requires 10+ years in telecommunications engineering and a deep understanding of TDM technologies.

The ideal candidate must have an active Secret clearance and be able to support transition planning for legacy systems. This position involves technical leadership, engineering, and global site surveys to implement cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in telecommunications engineering or network modernization.
• Deep expertise in TDM technologies (SONET, Promina, MSPP, ODXC).
• Proven experience supporting large-scale DoD or DISN network environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior SME for TDM elimination and DISN IP optimization efforts.
• Develop circuit emulation solutions to translate TDM traffic into Ethernet/IP.
• Conduct global site surveys to determine infrastructure requirements.
