You will review work, mentor junior staff, and act as a liaison between clients and management to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in tax accounting, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and a CPA or candidacy.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; master's in taxation preferred.
• CPA license or active CPA candidacy preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in tax accounting.
• Strong technical skills in tax compliance and planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), CCH, and QuickBooks Online.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for various entities and review work for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead tax research and planning to optimize clients' tax positions and document recommendations.
• Review junior staff work and ensure timely delivery to managers and partners.
• Engage with clients to discuss issues, audits, and notices, coordinating with leadership as needed.
• Oversee engagement budgets, staffing, and billing while coaching team members.
