PKF O’Connor Davies is seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor to join our Financial Services team in New York City. You will review tax returns and oversee the preparation and coordination of tax compliance and advisory services for hedge funds, funds of funds, private equity funds, management companies, and high-net-worth individuals.

The role requires strong technical tax knowledge, excellent analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to mentor staff while handling multiple

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
• MST degree a plus.
• Active CPA license, EA certification, or progress toward certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive financial services tax experience.

Responsabilidades

• Interact closely with clients to provide advanced tax planning, consulting and compliance expertise.
• Prepare complex tax returns and review returns prepared by Tax Associates and Tax Seniors.
• Oversee and supervise all tax reporting and compliance with federal, state, local, and international tax laws.
• Analyze and review financial data to identify tax savings and minimization opportunities.
• Conduct research on tax laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and developments.
• Provide guidance and support to tax staff and assist in their professional development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, clients, and industry professionals.
• Actively participate in professional organizations, industry events, and networking groups to enhance the firm’s visibility and reputation.
• Set clear goals and expectations for the tax team, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
• Participate in relevant training programs, seminars, and workshops to enhance tax knowledge and skills.
