Job summary

Koch Capabilities, LLC, part of Koch Engineered Solutions, seeks a Senior Manager/Assistant Tax Director to support global tax strategy and risk management from Plano, TX, Wichita, KS, or Atlanta, GA offices.

In this role you will lead tax planning, oversee domestic and international tax matters, coordinate with accounting, legal, treasury, FP&A, and drive initiatives that create value for the business; strong leadership and communication with senior leaders are essential.

Qualifications

• Progressive career experience in corporate/partnership taxation, tax accounting, or tax compliance.
• Understanding and application of federal and international tax policies and regulations and reporting requirements
• Experience prioritizing multiple projects, communicating results and driving initiatives forward

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Tax Director and business leaders to identify opportunities, anticipate business needs, evaluate trade-offs, and develop tax-efficient solutions.
• Develop key business relationships and serve as a trusted tax advisor while collaborating with accounting, legal, treasury, FP&A, and commercial teams.
• Coordinate domestic and international tax matters and strategic initiatives including transfer pricing, intercompany financing, restructurings, cross-border transactions.
• Evaluate tax consequences, risks, alternatives, and value creation opportunities with senior leadership.
• Support development of internal tax talent and coach others to align with PBM.
• Monitor legislative and global tax developments and communicate opportunities and risks to stakeholders.
