Job summary

EY seeks tax professionals to serve high-growth, privately held clients within the Financial Services Organization. You will engage on complex planning and compliance, often across borders, while building trusted advisor relationships.

Our FSO team emphasizes leadership development, collaboration, and a flexible, hybrid working environment across the U.S. This role supports clients ranging from family-owned firms to private equity-backed entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a professional services or tax services organization in financial services.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation and state/local tax.
• Proficient in tax and accounting technologies.
• Excellent teaming, leadership, and verbal/written communication skills.
• CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA) or licensed attorney

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients and demonstrate professional discretion by escalating complex tax matters to senior professionals.
• Deliver and manage compliance and consulting delivery services to meet deadlines for client deliverables.
• Ability to lead projects and work independently with guidance in complex situations.
• Manage communications with client tax liaisons and trust teams for timely information.
• Support effective long-term relationships and manage workflow with clients.
• Manage engagement deliverables and team resources to achieve timely delivery of tax services.
• Advise and provide direction on complex tax matters and assign tasks to staff.
• Review and evaluate staff work for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
