Qualifications

CPA and/or Enrolled Agent (EA) required.
3+ years of public accounting tax experience.
Experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.
Experience mentoring or training junior staff preferred.
Strong client relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy season.
Experience with foreign tax matters or IRS controversies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and finalize individual and business tax returns.
Review tax work for accuracy and compliance before final delivery.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
Assist with managing tax workflow and identifying process improvements.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Assist with complex tax matters and provide strategic guidance to clients.
Review bookkeeping records and financial information to support tax filings.
Collaborate with accounting and bookkeeping teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Handle select client engagements from start to finish when needed.
