Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager to join the Direct Tax Compliance and Reporting team in Seattle. The role will manage cross‑functional projects across US and international tax teams, driving process simplification, standardization and automation.

The successful candidate will lead program strategy, develop metrics, and partner with senior leaders to deliver end‑to‑end results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own programs and end‑to‑end operational efforts with stakeholders.
• Develop methodologies and tools to manage multiple projects with metrics and status reports.
• Manage project plans, action items, and task completion across projects.
• Collaborate with tax team to streamline planning, automate processes and reporting.
• Document processes, identify requirements, mitigate risk and ensure completeness.
• Prepare status materials for leadership presentations.
