H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team and advanced tax training.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA/EA certification, 5+ years in accounting or tax, and experience with virtual tax interviews, tax planning, and audit support, plus sales/marketing experience. Franchisee-led hiring applies.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (audit representation for Circular 230 and tax notice services)
• Mentor and support teammates
• Experience completing individual returns and working in a fast-paced environment
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet IRS/state requirements
